ABOUT
I started tinkering with my first bass guitar, a 1980s Fender Precision bass after my uncle gifted it to me when I was 12 years old. At 17 I fully restored my first acoustic guitar. A beat up and heavily painted knock off Gibson Hummingbird.
The itch stuck, and in my mid twenties I started investing time into woodworking and luthier courses at my local community college. There, I met Chris Timm. A multigenerational furniture builder and finisher who was an instructor of an electric guitar building course which I attended. After the semester, he asked if I was interested in a position working along side him in his guitar course. In 2018 Chris offered me an apprenticeship position in his shop in the historic Baldwin Building in Millcreek Utah. Since then, I’ve filled up a quiver of fine furniture building and finishing techniques that have bled into my passion. Building and repairing instruments.
I provide a multitude of services in the shop, if you have a question about a unique situation contact me to have a more thorough discussion.
